Excursion to Siena and San Gimignano

In the last years, Siena has been acclaimed one of the most beautiful Medieval Village right in the heart of the lovely and famous Chiantishire.

Located, as many other Tuscan Towns, right on top of a hill, from which you will enjoy an amazing view, its Historic Center has now been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. Ride in a comfortable private coach along the beautiful Tuscan Country-side from Florence to Siena and then to the lovely San Gimignano, enjoy the landscapes and the colourful hillsides and find yourself lost in what is considered to be one of the best place in Italy.

San Gimignano, a small town located right on top of a hill where you can delight in the beautiful view of the region. This town is famous for its architectures and numerous Towers widespread throughout the whole Burg.

Upon arrival in Siena, you will start the Historic-Center walking-tour, leaded by our Local guide, heading toward the famous Cathedral, masterpiece of the 14th Century, and the Piazza del Campo with the lovely Palazzo del Comune (only exterior description). You will then have free time to grab a bite in one of the many delicious Restaurants serving regional recipes (meal is not included).

After lunch, you will then start an amazing journey among the hills of Chianti Classico Wine and the Chiantigiana Route. Colors, Landscapes, Farms and nature will surround you all around and you will find yourself in one of the most beautiful place ever seen by one’s eyes.

O n the Route back to Florence, you will stop to visit a vineyard with wine cellar, where you will enjoy the flavours of the regional cuisine with Chianti DOCG wines-pairing. Arts, Nature and Food, this Tour includes them all!
